KB01167 - Why does consumer electronic control (CEC) not work on my display?

Subject: Why does consumer electronic control (CEC) not work on my display?

Troubleshooting:

Atlona does not have the ability to test all display/projector manufacturers. Therefore, if you have issues with CEC control from an Atlona device, we suggest double checking your display/projector’s CEC settings to confirm they are enabled. If they are, please see if any other CEC compatible device (I.e. Chromecast) can function. See below for a list of compatible CEC display/projector manufacturers.

Atlona has confirmed CEC compatibility on the following display/projector brands:

Explanation: CEC is a technology that is used by many vendors however it is not standardized throughout each manufacturer. Therefore, some manufacturers that may have their own version of CEC (typically branded by a name other than “CEC”) may not work with other manufacturers CEC devices.
