Challenge: Velocity shows that the projector is connected but you cannot control it.
Open the logs page of the projector in Velocity and see what the communication is between Velocity and the projector.
If you are seeing something like the image below, the projector is in password protect-mode and needs a 32 byte hash value sent to it in order to begin control.
The solution would be to disable protect mode since Velocity will not be able to generate this hash value.
Refer to your specific projector manual to see the password reset procedure if different than below.
Navigate to change the password but leave the password field blank and save.
Once saved, the projector will be in non-protect mode and Velocity should be able to control it.
To verify that the projector is in non-protect mode view the logs again and it should look something like this.
Now you should be able to control the Panasonic projector.
