Q: Will My Old VGW-250 and VSG Still Work After the 2.0 Update?

If you update your VGW-250 to Velocity 2.0,

• Your gateway will behave like a VGW-HW-10.
  • Up to 10 rooms and 250 IP devices supported.
  • If you already have more than 10 rooms, those existing rooms will be supported.

If you update your VSG-X to Velocity 2.0,

• Your gateway will support up to 20 rooms with no change the number of IP devices supported (250/2500/5000).
• If you already have more than 20 rooms, those existing rooms will be supported.

If you do not apply the 2.0 update,

• Your older gateway will continue to work as before.
