OmniStream supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, but requires a special EDID on the Encoder to pass-through.
There are a few ways to accomplish this:
- Learn the EDID of a Dolby Vision / Dolby Atmos sink device through an OmniStream Decoder and apply it to an OmniStream Encoder to which a Dolby Vision / Dolby Atmos capable source is connected
or - Apply the following EDID to an OmniStream Encoder to which a Dolby Vision / Dolby Atmos capable source is connected:
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
Note: the above EDID will be available as an internal EDID in a future Encoder patch.
