In some cases, a short HDBT cable will not perform as expected.
Certain Atlona HDBaseT products have a minimum cable length of 5m or 15'. These products optimize for longer runs at the expense of short distance performance where it is usually unnecessary to use an HDBaseT extender.
If your Atlona HDBaseT product contains USB or Ethernet pass-through, the minimum cable length will apply. This includes products in the Opus and HDVS line. For the UHD-EX and HDR-EX series extenders, there is no minimum.
