Summary: Using Bonjour Browser to Find Atlona Equipment on Your Network—

This article highlights the use of Bonjour Browser to discover mDNS capable Atlona equipment on your network

Many Atlona products, especially newer products and those updated recently, support mDNS. mDNS is a network protocol which allows you to easily find your product on your network.

  • You can use a mDNS scanner like Bonjour Browser or All My LAN to quickly discover your Atlona device on the network.
  • For MacOS and iOS, look for the Discovery - DNS-SD Browser app in the App Store.

These programs will look for devices using mDNS on the network. You can use these tools to find the IP addresses of your Atlona equipment. Simply run Discovery or Bonjour Browser and wait a minute or so for the tool to find the mDNS packets sent by your Atlona equipment.
