Summary: Accessing the Web Interface of your UHD-PRO3 Series—This article provides instructions for accessing the web interface and IP configuration details for the UHD-PRO3 series.

Default Login Credentials

The web interface of your UHD-PRO3 Series Matrix Switcher can be accessed by entering the unit's IP address into a browser URL bar. The default credentials are as follows:

USER: root
Password: Atlona

Discovering Your UHD-PRO3 on a Network

Your UHD-PRO3 ships with DHCP enabled.

If your network has a DHCP server, you will need to find the IP assigned to your UHD-PRO3 to connect to its web interface.

If a DHCP server is not available, the UHD-PRO3 series will default to the following settings:

IP: 192.168.0.150
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.0.1

Finding the currently assigned IP address

Using The Front Panel

Press and release the FNC button. Then press the INFO button twice. The IP address of the unit will display on the front panel screen.

Using an IP Scanner

You can use an IP scanner to find Atlona devices on your network, including your UHD-PRO3 series. Please see this article for more information. If the bottom of your unit is accessible, you can find a sticker there which lists the unit's MAC address.

Using an RS-232 Cable

If you cannot find your UHD-PRO3 IP using the above methods, you can connect directly to it using an RS-232 cable. Your UHD-PRO3 has terminal block RS-232 connections. You can make a cable for this connection by following the instructions here.

Most newer laptops do not have serial ports, so you may need to use a USB-serial adapter to connect to your UHD-PRO3.

After your cable is made and connected, use Hterm to send commands. Please see this article for more information on using Hterm. Ensure the "Send on Enter" field in the "Input control" window is set to "CR."

Use the following RS-232 command to obtain the current UHD-PRO3 network configuration:

IPCFG

You can also change your network settings using an RS-232 cable with the following commands:

IPDHCP on

Turns DHCP on.

IPDHCP off

Turns DHCP off.

IPStatic X Y Z

Sets IP=X, Netmask=Y, Gateway=Z.

Resetting Your UHD-PRO3 to Factory Defaults

If it is not possible to perform the above steps, or if they do not produce an IP address, you can reset your UHD-PRO3 to factory defaults. This will erase all settings and set your UHD-PRO3 to DHCP mode.

Firmware Through Version 13 / (Through Version 4 for 1616M), after 3/17/2016

After V13, it is possible to reset the UHD-PRO3 from the front panel by holding the EDID and INFO buttons for 5 seconds. This will erase all settings on the unit and return the unit to the default DHCP setting.

For more information, see the following article:

KB01077 - How to Reset AT-UHD-PRO3 Matrix

Firmware Before Version 13 (3/17/2016) / (Before Version 4 for 1616M)

The front panel reset feature was added with V13, or V4 for the 1616M. If your firmware is older, it is necessary to use RS-232 to reset your UHD-PRO3 if you cannot find it on the network. See the above for information on RS-232 cable terminations and usage.

The command for a factory reset is as follows:

Mreset
