KB01577 - What is the Pitch Size for the phoenix connector (aka. captive screw, terminal blocks, euro connector) that Atlona uses?

Question: What is the Pitch Size for the phoenix connector (aka. captive screw, terminal blocks, euro connector) that Atlona uses?

Answer: Atlona uses the Green Phoenix Connectors for data signals and the Orange Phoenix Connectors for power. The green connectors are always 3.5mm pitch while the orange connectors are 3.5mm for 5V and 5.08mm for 48V.

Note: Some earlier devices used 3.5mm Orange Connectors for 24V

There are generally 3 different sizes available: 3.5mm, 3.81mm, and 5.08mm. They come in different forms and names depending on the manufacturer. Sometimes they’re also called captive screw, terminal blocks, or Euro Connector.

Atlona’s OMNI also uses 3.5mm pitch size connectors, but these use dual row for the 2 rows of connectors needed.
