KB01482 - Atlona and SnapAV OVRC

Subject: Atlona and SnapAV OVRC

Updated: August 28, 2018

Atlona and SnapAV have worked closely together to resolve an incompatibility between Atlona products and SnapAV OVRC. SnapAV recently published an updated version of the OVRC Hub 100 firmware to address this challenge. Please upgrade any hubs which may be affected to this version available here:

After performing this update to your OVRC system, please ensure you are on the most recent firmware for your Atlona products.

In addition, for your AT-UHD-PRO3-1616M matrices, please disconnect your AT-UHD-PRO3-1616M from all video signals and power for 30 minutes

If you continue to experience challenges with your Atlona products, you can do the following to allow functionality of your Atlona matrix:

  1. Change the control method from IP to RS232, and disconnect the video matrix LAN interface from the network
  2. Set up a separate VLAN for your Atlona product
    1. Please refer to a network administrator to assist with this
  3. Add an Access List, AKA “ACL” – (only if your current network equipment supports it)
    1. You would need a router or a managed switch that supports Access List, you should only allow TCP traffic on ports 7, 22, 23, and 80.
