Subject:  I can get my source to work at 720P but I get flickering at higher resolutions (i.e 1080p), how can I ensure I am able to pass through 1080p video?

Explanation: If you find that you are able to pass video at a specific resolution but using a higher resolution causes video/audio playback issues, this is most often related to the bandwidth of either the hardware or cabling being used. This can be easily fixed by changing a few settings such as turning deep-color to a lower setting or simply to OFF (no deep color) at the source device. You can also try changing your sources output color-space from RGB to YcBcR 4:2:2. Please note, the level of adjustment of settings depends on the source and its firmware.

Please note, patch panels, junction blocks, and couplers can degrade the performance of cabling, if possible, Atlona recommends bypassing these.

In addition to trying the settings above, (at a minimum) Atlona recommends using CAT5E cables with a bandwidth of at least 350 MHz. If you are not confident in your cables bandwidth rating, try another cable (from a different spool) to see if that provides better results.
