KB01394 - Will the AT-UHD-SW-5000ED auto switch to an HDBaseT input if you use an Atlona HDBaseT transmitter?

SKU: AT-HDVS-150-TX-WP, AT-HDVS-150-TX, AT-UHD-SW-5000ED

Subject: Will the AT-UHD-SW-5000ED auto switch to an HDBaseT input if you use an Atlona HDBaseT transmitter (i.e. AT-HDVS-150-TX-WP) when a source is connected/ Will the UHD-SW-5000ED switch back to the last used input if a source is removed from the HDBaseT transmitter?

Explanation:

The AT-UHD-SW-5000ED is designed to auto switch when it senses a newly connected/disconnected source. This means any source connected to the 3 available HDMI inputs will cause the UHD-SW-5000ED to switch to these inputs and removing a source from these ports will cause it to switch back to the last used input (the input that was selected before the auto switch occurred to the newly connected device).

The AT-UHD-SW-5000ED switch also has two HDBaseT inputs (along with an HDBaseT output). The two HDBaseT inputs can be paired with an auto-switching transmitter such as the AT-HDVS-150-TX-WP/AT-HDVS-150-TX or the AT-HDVS-200-TX-WP/AT-HDVS-200-TX. Connecting an HDMI or VGA source to the auto switching transmitter will cause the transmitter to switch to that input, and will then cause the 5000ED to switch to the corresponding HDBaseT input (where that transmitter is connected). Removing the source from the HDBaseT transmitter will cause the 5000ED to switch back to the input that was being used before the auto switch occurred to the HDBaseT transmitter.
