Rauland Integration with Velocity
Note: Velocity Gateway & Rauland system need to be on the same network

Navigate to the IP address of Rauland Telecenter communication System

Go to Set up tab from the top menu. Navigate to IT Set Up and then select Users.

Click on Add New User. Fill out the details.

User Types:
-
Local: For any users
-
Active Directory: Mainly will be used by IT team

Selecting role: Recommended to use Unlimited Admin to get full access

After creating a user, you will see the user added under users. For Instance,

Click on Generate API Token for the user that was added to create API KEY
-

Velocity Gateway Set up:

Set up a Velocity gateway. Create a Site & then Add a new Room using + icon.

Add Technology to a room using + icon
-
Search and add “Rauland Telecenter Communication System” to the room and a touch panel (for instance, AT-VTP-800).

Modify Rauland device card. Click on the pencil icon to edit room control

Enter the IP Address and API Key (which was copied in the previous steps). Port number would be already added as 8443.

All the devices in the room are connected.

Go to Room Control Option (+ icon) build Macros and Device Variables are available for Rauland system

Navigate to Device Variables to see variables

Set up VTP-800 to execute all the macros
