Troubleshooting: Video is passing from the TX to RX and other USB ports can pass data from the RX to the TX units. Firmware on UHD-HDVS-300-KIT is 1.0.15.
Explanation: Due to a recent discovery where (some) USB speakerphones hosted on the RX unit’s “host” USB port (
), exhibited crackling audio, a firmware update of version 1.0.15 blocks the USB port from being used. Current HDVS-300 units are being shipped with the USB port blocked off by an insert.
