Issue: The master RS232/IR port doesn’t send commands to the HDBaseT output zones
Explanation: The RS232 master port on the UHD-CAT-4 is intended for local console control (i.e. Powering off the CAT unit). The additional RS232 connections on the unit are inputs (similar to our Atlona extenders) which are paired to their dedicated HDBaseT output. This allows you to send RS232/IR to each one of the HDBaseT zones when paired with a corresponding HDBaseT receiver or when directly connected to an HDBaseT input of a projector/TV that supports HDBaseT.
