Subject: Unable to get video from Logitech C920/C930 to pass when using a MAC and running chrome. Directly connected to a computer or through HDVS system.
Explanation: Atlona has recently discovered that video from a Logitech C930/C920 (as well as possibly the B910) will not be picked up by a MAC computer if a Chrome browser is launched and is showing a web page before the camera is connected. Launching Chrome after connecting the camera does not have any issues. Atlona has found that this is true when directly connecting the webcam to a MAC or if using the HDVS-300 system (as well as other extender systems). Therefore, this issue seems to be specified between the MAC, Chrome and the webcam, however, if any solutions/workarounds are discovered by Atlona, this article will be updated accordingly.
