Q: What control methods can be used with OmniStream?
A: When several OmniStream encoders and decoders are connected to a network, it functions like a matrix switcher. OmniStream provides control using Telnet or JSON over WebSockets, which both have an API and are available upon request. OmniStream can also be controlled using either the new Atlona Velocity™ control system, or it can be controlled using a third-party IP control system. As of this writing, both a Crestron® and Extron® module are available.
