Troubleshooting:

  1. Verify that the source being used is hard set to 4K resolution
  2. Verify that the source being used is hard set for 5.1 Dolby Digital
  3. Make sure that any auto detect settings for audio/video are off
  4. Verify that the display being used supports 4K video
  5. If using an AVR make sure that it is hard set to 5.1 dolby digital
  6. Avoid using any Directional HDMI cables on the outputs of the matrix

Steps:

To ensure that 4K with Dolby Digital EDID is reported to your sources, Atlona recommends using the Atlona EDID Management feature of our UHD-PRO3 matrix to correct 

  1. Access the GUI of the AT-UHD-PRO3-xxx series matrix through IP

(Press the function button once and then the info button twice to get the IP address)

  1. Enter the IP address into your web browser to get to the login screen

(Username: root ----- Password: Atlona)

  1. Navigate to the EDID page of the GUI and choose the “4K Multichannel” EDID and click save:                                                                                    

 

Note: The highest resolution and color depth supported is 4K @60hz with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling
